How is the word count calculated?
All word counts refer to Chinese characters, not English words. For example, a script of 300 Chinese characters counts as 300 words. If you only have an English script, message me and I’ll estimate the length for you.
Are commercial rights included?
Yes! Commercial use rights for online use (websites, YouTube, social media, presentations) are included for free. For TV, radio, or paid advertising campaigns, please add the Full Broadcast Rights extra.
What’s the difference between Taiwan Mandarin and Standard Mandarin?
Taiwan Mandarin has a softer, warmer tone and is the natural choice if your audience is in Taiwan or prefers Traditional Chinese content. If your target audience is in Mainland China, please message me first to check whether my voice fits.
What should I provide when ordering?
Your final script, the intended use (ad, e-learning, etc.), the tone you want, and any reference audio or video. Please also note the pronunciation of brand names, product names, or English terms.
What do revisions cover?
Revisions cover changes to tone, pacing, or pronunciation based on your original direction. Changes to the script after recording are treated as a new order.
