In the hadith narrated by Ad-Darimy, Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said:
"Whoever has read the Quran (khatam) and then prays, then there are 4 thousand angels who confirm his prayer" (HR ad-Darimy).
"When a servant has recited the Quran, 60,000 angels will be present who will read istighfar for him when he has finished the Quran" (HR ad-Dailamy).
"When the Quran is recited, Allah's grace descends" (HR at-Thabrani)
