FAQ
Do I need to file the Operating Agreement with the state?
No. Texas does not require you to file your Operating Agreement with the Secretary of State. You keep it in your company records. I will tell you exactly what does need to be filed.
What are the Texas SOS filing fees?
Currently $300 for the Certificate of Formation, paid directly to the Texas Secretary of State. This is separate from my service fee.
Can you file the documents for me?
I prepare all documents and provide step-by-step filing instructions. Direct filing on your behalf requires additional arrangement — message me to discuss.
What do you need from me?
LLC name, principal address, member names and ownership percentages, management structure preference, and registered agent information if you have one.
What is a BOI report and do I need to file one?
Most Texas LLCs formed after January 1, 2024 are required to file a Beneficial Ownership Information report with FinCEN within 30–90 days of formation. My Standard and Premium packages include a complete guide.
