FAQ
What counts as one MCP tool?
One tool performs one agreed read-only API operation with defined inputs and outputs. A workflow needing several operations may need several tools. We agree on endpoints, response format and limits before ordering.
How is integration verified?
Before ordering, we confirm one existing AI-enabled MCP client and authorized API access. Completed delivery requires successful tests of every agreed tool inside that client against the API. Mock tests or setup instructions alone do not satisfy acceptance.
Do I receive the source code?
Yes. Every package includes custom Python or TypeScript source, setup instructions, sample test calls and placeholder environment variables. Third-party dependencies retain their licenses; you do not receive exclusive ownership of those dependencies.
How are API credentials handled?
Never send passwords, API keys or tokens in chat. You configure your existing credentials locally. I provide placeholder variables. New credentials, OAuth grants and authentication accounts are excluded. We cannot accept the order without an authorized way to test the existing integration.
What does a revision include?
A revision round refines the agreed tools, inputs, outputs or setup instructions within the original scope. Basic includes 1 round, Standard 2 and Premium 3. Additional API operations, a different client or changed requirements need a separate agreement.
What is outside this gig?
Write actions, payments, account changes, new credentials or authentication providers, OAuth grants, paid keys, hosting, deployment, multi-user systems and security or compliance certification are excluded. Any existing API or client fees remain your responsibility.
