My workflow doesn't fit neatly into a package, what do I do?
Message me with the details before ordering and I'll scope it honestly, including a realistic timeline and price, rather than forcing it into a package that doesn't fit.
Can this run fully offline/locally?
Yes, using local LLMs like Llama or Gemma through LM Studio, no data leaves your server. I'll advise honestly on whether local or cloud fits your use case better.
Will the agent hallucinate or make things up?
I build in safeguards against this, including grounding answers in retrieved data and fallback logic so the agent doesn't fabricate an answer when it isn't confident. Scout, my research agent, has this exact system built in after catching this issue firsthand.
Can the agent access my own data or documents?
Yes, I can wire in RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) so the agent's answers are grounded in your actual data, not just the model's general knowledge. This is included in the Standard and Premium packages.
What's the difference between a simple chatbot and an actual agent?
A chatbot responds to messages. An agent plans, makes decisions across multiple steps, uses tools (search, retrieval, APIs) on its own, and works toward a finished outcome without you guiding every step. That's what I build.
Do I need my own API key for OpenAI/Gemini?
Yes, for cloud-based agents you'll need your own API key so usage costs bill to your account directly. If you'd rather avoid ongoing API costs, ask about a local/offline agent setup instead.
What do you need from me to get started?
A description of the task or workflow you want automated, what data or tools it needs to access, and any systems it needs to connect to (APIs, databases, files). I'll confirm the agent architecture before starting
