Physical details and behavioral habits arent just surface level. You can use them to to augment the theme, tone, and reader perception. A single trait can reveal origins, worldview, or foreshadow future choices. Think of a war-scarred politician who keeps one hand hidden in their robe, fingers wrapped around a knife, still paranoid after the civil war ambushes that once stained the halls of government.

What do they smell like? How do they act when they're in public vs. when they think they're alone? Is there a stutter in their voice, carefully controlled during speeches? Why do they feel comfortable with just a knife?
