FAQ
Why do you need source code or author permission?
CurseForge mods are typically All Rights Reserved by default, which makes porting them without permission copyright infringement. Fiverr enforces DMCA strictly, so I require either source code with a permissive license (MIT/LGPL/Apache), or written permission from the original author.
Can you port a mod if I only have the .jar file?
Yes, with conditions. Add the "Jar-only handling" extra (+$20) and provide ONE of: (a) author permission via Discord DM screenshot, forwarded email or public README statement, (b) proof you ARE the mod author (GitHub commits, CurseForge author page, etc.).
What versions and loaders do you support?
I work primarily with Minecraft 1.18+ on Forge, NeoForge and Fabric. Common transitions: Forge 1.20.1 → NeoForge 1.21.x, Forge ↔ Fabric, MC version bumps within 1.20-1.21. Premium includes Architectury multi-loader builds (single codebase, multiple loader outputs).
Can you port a 1.12.2 mod to 1.21?
Not under this gig. That spans 8 major versions with breaking changes (flattening in 1.13, modlauncher in 1.17, datapack overhaul in 1.18, component data in 1.21) — it's essentially a rewrite, not a port.
What if the port has bugs after delivery?
All packages include revisions (Basic 1, Standard 2, Premium 3). includes 14 days of post-delivery bug-fix support. Bug fixes within the original scope are free; new features require a new order.
Will it work on a dedicated server?
Standard and Premium include multiplayer/server-side testing. Basic is tested in a single-player dev environment. If you need server-side critical features verified (networking, world syncing), please order Standard or above.
Do you make new mods from scratch?
Not in this gig — this is a port and update service. For new mods built from scratch, send me a message describing what you want and I'll quote it as a custom order separately.
