Dec 2010 - Present • 15 yrs 10 mos
For 15 years, I worked as the lead layout designer for textbooks and general books, while also serving as the lead designer for marketplace promotional advertisements at the company where I was employed. I also took on freelance layout projects for other publishers. The books I handled included textbooks with illustrations requiring a high level of precision, such as mathematics and physics textbooks, which demanded strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator, as well as Early Childhood Education (PAUD) and kindergarten books with engaging layouts suited to young children. In my freelance work, I handled similar books and general titles, including dictionaries, Islamic religious books, cookbooks, and other publications.
