I will create 2d manufacturing drawings, technical drawing and fabrication

About this gig
Do you have a 3D product model, but your factory is demanding a professional 2D drawing before they begin production?
I specialize in 2D Manufacturing Drawings, Technical Drawings, and Fabrication CAD. A 3D STEP file is not enough for mass production. Machinists and factory floors need strict, dimensioned 2D drawings to understand tolerances, surface finishes, and assembly instructions. Using SolidWorks, I convert your 3D models into factory-ready technical documentation.
I help engineers, hardware startups, and inventors get their products manufactured without costly errors.
Services included:
- 2D manufacturing drawings from your 3D CAD files
- Technical drawings with strict geometric tolerances
- Dimensioned 2D drawing for CNC and Fabrication
- Exploded assembly views and Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Section views, detail views, and hole callouts
Why choose me:
- Manufacturing-first engineering standards
- Professional title blocks
- Fast delivery for urgent factory deadlines
Don't let your factory guess your dimensions. Message me your 3D files today!

FAQ
What is a 2D Manufacturing Drawing and why do I need one?
While a 3D file shows the shape of a product, a 2D manufacturing drawing (usually a PDF) tells the factory the exact dimensions, how tight the tolerances must be, what material to use, and how to assemble the separate parts. Factories require this to give you an accurate manufacturing quote.
I only have a rough sketch. Can you make a 2D technical drawing from it?
To create a precise 2D manufacturing drawing, I first need a 3D CAD model. If you only have a sketch, I can absolutely 3D model it for you first! Please message me for a custom offer that includes both 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
What files do you need from me to start?
I need the 3D CAD file of your product. I prefer native SolidWorks files (.SLDPRT or .SLDASM), but I can also easily generate technical drawings from universal 3D formats like STEP or IGES files.
Do you include a Bill of Materials (BOM)?
Yes! In the Premium package, if you have an assembly with multiple separate parts, I will include an Exploded View drawing with numbered balloons and a complete Bill of Materials table listing every part required.
Can you put my company logo on the drawing?
Yes. If you provide your company logo and information, I will create a custom title block in the bottom corner of the PDF so the technical drawing looks like an official document from your own company.
What file format will I receive?
You will receive a high-resolution, print-ready PDF that you can email directly to your factory or machine shop. If requested, I can also provide the native CAD drawing file (SLDDRW) or a DXF/DWG format.
