I've been working as a designer and illustrator for almost 10 years, doing branding, music merchandise design, fashion design and illustration for a bunch of clients (Universal Music, Warner Music, Rolling Stones, Metallica, Havana Club, Pearl Jam, Blink-182…).

This gig will give you a professional and ready for print book cover (see examples above). You will get a unique illustrated book cover, suitable for any kind of need.
THE PROCESS
After placing an order I will follow this process:
1. I will discuss with you about the project, ideas and brief to fully understand what are your initial needs;
2. I will work on a pencil sketch in black and white to get you a first glimpse of the concept;
3. I will work on the digital illustration and, after revisions and final approval, the final high-resolution file will be delivered to you, ready to be used for print or web.

I am Gianluca (Giovanni Luca) Militello, Italy based designer and illustrator specialize in merch/product design for the music industry and streetwear. As a proudly self-taught person I work as freelance designer combining it with an active artistic approach with its roots in figurative street-art and in pop illustration.
I love to experiment with different media and different format sizes still keeping the exact same visual style made of imperfections, smart shapes and reality distortion.

Why are you a Pro Seller?
I have been working as a designer and illustrator for more than a decade, collaborating with huge clients from all over the world. My portfolio shows a large variety of works I am able to do as I have experience in publishing, music industry, streetwear, product design and ad, of course.
What about a Commercial use of the illustration?
You will buy a design which is going to be ready for commercial use anyway. Easy!
What is a revisions?
A revision is a round of small changes in the design and it comes right after the first draft of the illustration. A revision is not a completely new design concept.
What other service do you offer?
I can work on basic illustrations, character designs, pattern designs, book covers, album covers, gig posters, calligraphy and typography, t-shirt and apparel designs and cut & sew products. Feel free to send me a message and we can discuss it.
Can you create a book cover in a different style?
Of course I can, I am always open to new suggestions. Feel free to send me reference images of what you need.
