What do you need from me to get started?
Your documents or data source (PDFs, docs, a website URL, or database access), a short description of what the bot should do, and your OpenAI or Anthropic API key. If you don't have a key yet, I'll walk you through creating one in about five minutes.
Who pays for the OpenAI or Claude API usage?
You do, on your own account, billed directly by them. This is standard, and it's in your interest: you own the key, you see the usage, and you're not locked into me. Typical costs for a small internal bot run a few dollars a month.
Will the chatbot make things up?
That's exactly what RAG prevents. The system retrieves the actual passage from your documents before generating an answer, and every reply can cite the source it came from. If the answer isn't in your data, I configure it to say so rather than guess.
Can you connect it to my existing website or app?
Yes. Every package includes a documented FastAPI endpoint your app can call. I can also integrate it directly into a React, Next.js, WordPress, or Slack frontend. Mention your stack before ordering so I can confirm.
How many documents can it handle?
Basic covers one source up to about 100 pages, Standard up to 3 sources and 500 pages, Premium 2000+ pages across multiple sources. If you're well beyond that, message me and I'll quote a custom offer.
Do I get the source code?
Yes, in all three packages. You receive the full repository with setup instructions and can host, modify, or extend it however you like. No lock-in.
