About this Gig
I'm an embedded firmware engineer who builds custom MCU firmware, device drivers, and full hardware integration turning unsupported components, new PCBs, and unreliable prototypes into stable, production-ready IoT devices that actually work in the field.
What I Offer:
- Custom MCU firmware development
- Device driver development (I2C, SPI, UART)
- Hardware bring-up & board testing
- Sensor driver integration
- Display & peripheral drivers
- RTOS-based firmware (FreeRTOS)
- Bare-metal firmware programming
- Wireless connectivity (WiFi, BLE)
- IoT cloud integration (MQTT, Firebase)
- OTA firmware updates
- Low power/battery optimization
- Debugging existing firmware & drivers
- Prototype to production firmware
- Register level programming
- Multi peripheral system integration
- Full documentation & source code
- Interrupt handling & timing critical code
- Bootloader development & flashing setup
Why Choose Me:
- Specialized in driver level work most firmware freelancers avoid
- Clean, reusable, well documented code built to last
- Clear communication and realistic, honest timelines

FAQ
Do I need to send you my physical hardware/board?
No. This is remote work I just need your board details, datasheets, and a clear description of what's not working. You handle flashing and physical testing on your end.
What microcontrollers do you work with?
I work with ESP32, STM32, Arduino, and most common MCU platforms. If yours isn't listed, message me with the chip details before ordering.
My sensor/component has no existing driver can you still help?
Yes. If you can provide the datasheet, I can write a custom driver from scratch, even for unsupported or poorly documented components.
Can you fix my existing driver code instead of writing from scratch?
Yes. Share your current code and describe the issue (communication failure, incorrect readings, etc.) and I'll review it before we start.
I have a new custom PCB with no firmware yet can you help bring it up?
Yes. Hardware bring-up is one of my core services I can help verify communication, test peripherals, and get your board running from scratch.
