I am a charity development consultant, with over 15 years experience.

I have conducted 100s of consultations for different charities both big and small, it has become clear- many lack the foundational strategy documents to develop their organisation.

Without an organisational strategy many charities fail to logically map out the processes needed to ensure impactful programming, a precursor to successful fundraising. For big charities expensive consultants can be hired at $100/hr but small and new charities are unable to afford the same support.

I have provided this document to be a cheap, but extensive template to guide charities of all sizes to easily create a development strategy. This differs from a business plan (BP) and can be used as a stand alone document or in conjunction with a BP, to ensure charities are able to put down in writing there aims, objectives and activities and create a process where outcomes are built off of activities and everything works towards a unifying goal. 

This template reflects my years of experience and provides all the information, guidance, exercises and steps required to produce a robust strategy at quite literally 1% of the cost.
