FAQ
1. Will my site go offline during the migration?
No, your current 7.0 site stays active and live while I work on the upgrade in a preview environment or staging workflow
2. Will I lose my search engine rankings on Google?
No. In the Premium package, I ensure meta titles, descriptions, and 301 redirects are properly mapped so your SEO juice remains protected
3. What is Fluid Engine and why should I upgrade?
Fluid Engine is Squarespace 7.1’s drag and drop grid editor. It allows far greater design freedom, independent mobile layouts and modern block arrangements
4. Can you fix layout issues without upgrading me to 7.1?
Yes If you want to remain on Squarespace 7.0, I can fix custom CSS, mobile bugs and layout issues directly on your current template
5. What if I have more than 10 pages on my site?
No problem. Send me a message with your site URL, and I will send a custom offer tailored to your site's exact size
6. Are my blog posts and store products migrated as well?
Yes, blog posts, e-commerce products and custom forms can be transferred during a full migration
7. Why is my text overlapping on mobile after updating to Fluid Engine?
Fluid Engine requires independent desktop and mobile layout adjustments. I manually tweak mobile block arrangements so elements never overlap
8. Can you fix custom CSS added by another developer?
Yes. I audit old custom CSS code, clean up errors and update it to work smoothly with Squarespace 7.1 syntax
