I'm a children's book editor helping authors improve clarity, story flow and readability while preserving their voice.
I have over 20 years of experience as a book editor at a major publisher. I work with picture books and stories for children, including rhyming manuscripts.
Choose the support your story needs:
BASIC: $50 per 1,000 words
Grammar, spelling, punctuation and light wording improvements.
STANDARD: $75 per 1,000 words
Line and developmental editing, with light rewriting to improve flow and structure.
PREMIUM: $100 per 1,000 words
Everything in Standard, plus a video walkthrough, written guidance and consulting.
Your manuscript is edited in Word using Track Changes.
Each package includes one full read-through and unlimited revisions to my edits and notes. New writing and another full manuscript edit are outside that revision scope.
Before ordering, send your Word manuscript, its length, intended age group and deadline. Tell me whether the story rhymes and what concerns you most.

Are illustrations, cover design or formatting included?
Those services are available through my separate gigs. This order covers manuscript editing. Please message me if you need help choosing the services for your book.
What does the Premium video include?
The video walks you through the editing and feedback so you can understand the changes and suggestions. Premium also includes written guidance and consulting. We can clarify what support you need before you order.
How much will my book cost?
The listed packages cover up to 1,000 words: Basic is $50, Standard is $75 and Premium is $100. Send your manuscript before ordering so I can confirm the editing level and total price, especially for longer books.
How long will editing take?
The listed packages include seven-day delivery for up to 1,000 words. Please discuss longer manuscripts or earlier deadlines with me before ordering. Same-day or next-day service depends on availability.
What do unlimited revisions cover?
All last two packages include unlimited revisions to my edits and notes within the original scope. This allows us to address questions or adjustments to that work. New writing and another full manuscript edit are outside that revision coverage.
How many times will you read my manuscript?
Each package includes one full read-through. Revisions to the resulting edits and notes are included. Another full edit of a revised manuscript is a separate service that we would discuss before ordering.
What file should I send, and how will I see the edits?
lease send your manuscript as a Word document in .doc or .docx format. I'll use Track Changes so you can review the edits. You'll need software that displays Word's tracked changes and comments.
Does this include developmental editing?
Standard and Premium include developmental editing alongside sentence work. These packages address story flow and structure, with light rewriting where needed. Please describe your concerns before ordering so we can agree on the scope.
Do you edit rhyming stories?
Yes. Please tell me that your story rhymes before ordering. Send the manuscript so we can discuss the work needed on its wording, rhyme, rhythm and flow, then confirm the right package.
Which editing package should I choose?
Choose Basic for grammar, spelling, punctuation and light wording improvements. Standard adds line and developmental editing with light rewriting. Premium includes Standard plus a video walkthrough, written guidance and consulting. Send your manuscript if you need help choosing.
