I will develop and improve chrome, firefox, and edge extensions

About this gig
Have an idea for a browser extension, or an existing one that's broken, outdated,
or needs new features? I build, fix, and improve extensions for Chrome, Firefox,
and Edge from scratch or from your existing codebase.
WHAT I CAN DO:
Build a new extension from your idea or spec, for Chrome, Firefox, and/or Edge
Fix bugs, crashes, or extensions broken by browser updates
Migrate old Manifest V2 extensions to Manifest V3 (required for Chrome/Edge)
Adapt a Chrome extension to also work on Firefox (and vice versa) the two
use different extension engines, so this involves real cross-browser testing,
not just a copy-paste
Add new features to an existing extension
Improve performance, fix memory leaks, and clean up messy code
Handle Chrome Web Store and Firefox Add-ons (AMO) submission and policy compliance
COMMON USE CASES:
- Productivity tools (form autofill, note-taking, tab management)
- E-commerce helpers (price trackers, coupon finders, comparison tools)
- Developer tools (JSON formatters, API testers, debugging aids)
- Data extraction extensions (scraping tools, lead-gen helpers)
- Website enhancers (adding missing features to tools you already use)

FAQ
Can you fix my extension that stopped working after a browser update?
Yes — this is one of the most common jobs. Chrome/Edge regularly deprecate old APIs (especially the Manifest V2 → V3 transition), and Firefox has its own update cycle too. I diagnose and fix compatibility issues for whichever browser you're targeting.
Do you handle store submission?
I can prepare your extension to meet Chrome Web Store and/or Firefox Add-ons (AMO) policies and guide you through submission. Note: the review and approval process itself is handled by Google/Mozilla and can take several days — that's outside my control once submitted.
Does one extension automatically work on Chrome, Firefox, and Edge?
A: Chrome and Edge share the same underlying engine, so those two are usually low-effort together. Firefox uses a different engine and has some API differences, so true cross-browser support needs separate testing — that's why full 3-browser coverage is scoped in the Premium package rather than assu
Can you add ongoing maintenance if a browser changes something later?
One-time deliveries cover the current build. For ongoing maintenance/updates, message me about a recurring support arrangement.
I don't have code yet, just an idea — can you still help?
Yes — message me with your idea and I'll help scope what's realistic and which package fits.
