I will extract structured data from pdfs, invoices and documents
About this Gig
You tried a PDF-to-Excel tool and still checked every row by hand - because the totals didn't sum, the dates came out in the wrong format, and a few invoices came through wrong with no warning. So it saved you nothing.
I extract invoice and document data validation-first. Totals have to sum. Dates have to parse. Required fields have to be present. Anything that fails those checks is flagged in a separate exceptions list - never silently written to your sheet as if it were fine. Silently writing a failed check to your sheet as if it were fine is the one thing this gig is built to prevent.
How I work: I direct a small team of AI coding agents. The agents build and test the extractor; I review and approve every delivery myself before it reaches you. Days, not weeks - and the price reflects that process.
You keep your data. Delivery is to a file or repo you control, and I don't retain copies after handoff. You get the output, the source code, and the validation rules in plain language.
Send me 3-5 sample documents (redacted is fine) before you order and I'll confirm scope and price.

FAQ
My invoices come in several different layouts - is that a problem?
No. Standard covers 2-3 layouts and Premium handles more. Send a sample of each and I'll confirm before quoting.
Can you read scanned PDFs?
Scanned PDFs with OCR, yes, if the print is clean. Handwriting is unreliable and I'll tell you so up front rather than fail on your data.
What happens to an invoice the system can't read cleanly?
It gets flagged in a separate exceptions list for review - never written into your output as if it were correct. That's the core of this gig.
Where does the data end up?
A CSV/Excel file or a destination you control (Google Sheets, or an accounting import if it has one).
Is my data safe?
You deliver through a file or repo you control, and I keep no copies after handoff.
