I was hired by G.I.S Gesellschaft für Industrieservice AG, a German firm, to modernize their legacy telemarketing and reporting software, transforming it into a complex, scalable web application built with React and ASP.NET C#. The project involved rebuilding critical business tools including customer management systems, appointment scheduling modules, and reporting dashboards, with the goal of making daily operations smoother, faster, and more efficient for their teams. During this project, I improved application speed and usability by cleaning up outdated code, optimizing how data is handled, and making interfaces more responsive. These changes made the applications up to 50% faster and much easier to navigate, helping employees save time and work more efficiently. I also developed secure file and document management features, allowing users to upload files with drag-and-drop, preview documents instantly, and control access permissions. These systems were integrated with the company’s network storage to ensure smooth, reliable, and secure file handling. Additionally, I implemented automation for appointment reminders, document sharing, and location distribution, reducing manual work and improving communication across the company. To help the firm make smarter business decisions, I designed interactive reporting dashboards with filtering, sorting, export, and print-friendly options. These dashboards provide clear, actionable insights, enabling faster, data-driven decisions across departments.
