I will beta read your novel with an average reader perspective
About this Gig
I will beta-read your novel and provide honest reactions as an average reader. My review will not be highly analytical or contain a reader's report. It will provide my big picture thoughts on what was well done, what could use some improvement, and my overall enjoyment and experience as a reader.
All reviews come with an optional Q&A after I deliver the review. This is a conversational-style follow-up through Fiverr's messaging system. The Q&A will allow you to ask for further detail or clarification on my review. The Q&A is available for 7 days after I have delivered the review.
Genre:
Literary fiction

FAQ
Do I use AI in my work?
Absolutely not. I will read your work exactly as it is submitted to me and completely write my own reviews. You can feel confident that every review is personally crafted to help you and your work will not be loaded into any AI software.
Do I provide editing services?
This offer is for beta-reading, which focuses on the big picture of your story. I will make note of grammar or spelling mistakes if they impede the reading flow, but editing is not the primary focus of this job.
What genres do I read?
When I read for fun, I lean toward mysteries, fantasy, and historical fiction. I will have the most experience when reviewing these genres. I am open to reading any fictional genre.
Are there any topics, content, or triggers I won't read?
Consider me your best resource for PG-13 and lower. Personally, I prefer not to consume works with excessive profanity, explicit scenes, or dark themes. If you have questions about whether I am a good fit for your work, please message me before ordering and we can discuss.
Do I only read adult fiction?
No, I will review adult, young adult, and juvenile (chapter books and middle grade) works. There is a requirement question when ordering for the intended audience of your book.
