About this gig

Your build is an Ant script nobody wants to touch. Or your Maven

build fails and the error means nothing.

I migrated a production Java service from Ant to Maven, then built

its GitLab pipeline: build, quality scan, SAST, and deploy stages,

running on a Kubernetes runner with a self-hosted shell runner for

deployment.

WHAT I HANDLE

-> Ant to Maven migration, including multi-module projects

-> Local /libs jars mapped to real Maven Central dependencies

-> Dependency conflicts and version resolution

-> GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions pipelines

-> Build, test, quality scan and deploy stages

-> Docker builds inside the pipeline

-> Deploy scripts with dated backups and rollback

WHAT YOU GET

A build that works on a clean machine, not just yours. Plus a

written explanation of how the pipeline is wired and how to

 change it later.

Send me your build.xml or pom.xml and I'll tell you what shape

it's in before you order.

Java developer, 5+ years on production systems that can't go down. Most of my work is inside existing codebases: finding why something broke, fixing it, and explaining what happened. I've migrated production apps from JDK 8 to 21 and Tomcat 9 to 11, and debugged live out-of-memory incidents on running servers. Day to day: Java 8-21, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Maven, Oracle and PostgreSQL, Tomcat on Linux, GitLab CI/CD. Message me with your problem before ordering. I'll say honestly whether I'm the right person.
