I've spent the last four and a half years building business software — ERP, CRM, payroll, billing, delivery tracking and eCommerce systems that companies use every day to run their operations. Most of my work is Angular on the front end with Node.js and Express behind it, though I've done plenty in React and PHP too. I handle the database side myself, which I like — a lot of the performance problems clients come to me with turn out to be schema and query issues rather than anything in the code. Some of what I've shipped: a payroll system that took a two-day monthly process down to about three hours, a restaurant billing setup that cut order errors sharply, a delivery platform with live GPS tracking, and GST and e-invoicing integrations for Indian billing software. I've also integrated most of the common payment gateways — Razorpay, Stripe, PayU, Paytm. These days I also review the team's code and help the junior developers, which has made me a lot more careful about writing things other people can pick up later.
