The process : "I'm considering placing an order with you. Before I do, should I contact you ?"
I strongly recommend it, yes. We can then discuss your requirements / expectations. Every project is different. So it's necessary for both you and I to understand how the project is to proceed. Also, it'll help me greatly in providing you with a fair quote for the work.
Cost : "I'm considering placing an order. But I'd like to know beforehand, how much will it cost ?
As every project is different in terms of prerequisites, workflow, costing, deliverables and turnaround time, I strongly recommend that you send me an introductory message. Once we have discussed your requirements and expectations, I will gladly provide you with a fair quote for the work.
Requirements : "To be able to start work on my project, what will you need from me ?"
Before proceeding, I will ask you to provide details of the animation(s) / render(s) / video(s) you need, any reference images, and any specific style preference, etc. The more details you provide, the better placed we will be to progress through the project, and the better the final result.
Requirements : "I already have a 3D model of my product. Can you include it in an animation ?"
Yes, much more often than not, I can, if necessary, include an existing 3D model provided by you. A model in STL, OBJ, FBX, STEP, or IGES format is suitable. And I may be able to use a model in another format.
“Delivery : Can you combine animations, images, live video footage, a sound-track and narration ?”
Besides my animated work, I can create or source the required video footage, still images, photos, sound track and narration. Being experienced in video editing, I am confident that I can bring all of these elements together in a visually attractive way.
Delivery : "What format will be the final version of the product animation be in ?"
I'm happy to discuss (before order placement) your preference for video format. Options are : MP4, MOV, WEBM.
Delivery : "What will the turnaround time be ?"
Before order placement, we will discuss what turnaround time you require from me. Once an order is in place, I will work diligently to deliver ahead of the deadline. It's very helpful to me in achieving that if feedback from you (on draft versions of the deliverable), is provided in a timely manner.
