I firmly believe that an attractive yet simple image can really can change the way science is communicated, making it easier for everyone to understand and appreciate. This is the main reason why I started to develop my skills as a scientific illustrator.

Hi,
My name is Miguel and I have always been a really big fan of drawing. As I became specialised in the area of Sciences, namely Genetics and Biology, I started to employ my digital art skills in my work, and in the process I fell in love with scientific illustration.
I try to make my illustrations as creative and simple as possible, as I believe that a clear and neat image can make a positive impact in the way that we communicate science.
