I take concepts from sketch to production-ready CAD. I am a CSWP with 4+ years of experience and 170+ projects, including assemblies of over 400 parts. NDAs on request.
What I deliver:
- Concept development and ideation from a sketch, description, or reference
- 3D CAD models and multi-part assemblies in SolidWorks
- Design for manufacturing so the product is actually buildable
- Full 2D manufacturing drawings, with GD&T on request
- Sheet metal design with flat patterns and bend tables
- Prototyping guidance, a bill of materials, and patent-ready drawings

FAQ
What do you need from me to start?
A description of the product, what it has to do, rough dimensions, and how you intend to manufacture it. Sketches or reference images help but are not required.
Can you work if I only have an idea and no drawing?
Yes. Concept development is the second milestone on every tier, so starting from a description alone is normal. And in this case, Research and Concept development will go hand in hand.
Will my design be ready for manufacturing?
Yes. Design for manufacturing is included at every tier, and drawings are produced to ASME standards.
What file formats will I receive?
STEP, STL and PDF drawings on every tier, with DWG, DXF or IGES on request. Native editable SolidWorks files are a paid add-on at 20% of the package price, since releasing the source is a sign-off on the design.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, on request, before any files are shared.
How do the milestones work?
You approve and pay at each stage as it completes, so you see progress before committing to the next step.
Do you design assemblies or only single parts?
Full assemblies. I have delivered assemblies over 400 parts.
Can you modify or improve an existing design?
Yes. Send the existing CAD or drawings and tell me what needs to change.
Can you do structural calculations or certify the design?
No. I design for manufacturing, but I do not provide structural calculations or certified or stamped engineering sign-off. Load-bearing, life-safety and pressure-vessel work needs a licensed engineer in your jurisdiction.
