What information do you need to start the project?
Please provide the available drawings, specifications, scope of work, preferred measurement units, required trades, and any BOQ or takeoff template you want me to follow.
Can you provide cost estimates?
Yes. Cost estimation is available when included in the package or ordered as an extra. Pricing will be based on the agreed pricing source or client-provided unit rates. Local market pricing research must be specifically agreed before ordering.
What is included in the annotated plans?
Annotated plans show the areas, lengths, counts, or work items used for the takeoff so the measured quantities can be reviewed and traced back to the drawings.
Do you provide editable files?
Yes. The quantity takeoff and BOQ are delivered in an editable Excel workbook. Marked-up drawings can also be included according to the selected package.
What is the difference between single-trade and multi-trade takeoff?
A single-trade takeoff covers one construction trade, such as concrete, masonry, framing, drywall, flooring, or finishes. A multi-trade takeoff includes several agreed trades within the same project.
Can you work in metric and imperial units?
Yes. Quantities can be delivered in metric units such as m, m2, and m3, or imperial units such as LF, SF, and CY, according to the project requirements.
What is considered a revision?
A revision includes reasonable corrections or adjustments within the originally agreed drawings, trades, and scope. New drawings, additional trades, major scope changes, or new measurement areas may require an extra or custom offer.
Do you provide structural design or stamped drawings?
No. This service covers quantity takeoff, BOQ preparation, marked-up plans, and agreed cost estimation only. Structural design, engineering calculations, and stamped drawings are not included.
