Will my website go down during the migration?
No. Your current site stays live on the old host while I set up and test the copy on the new host. We switch DNS only after everything works, so visitors see no downtime.
Will I lose any emails or old messages?
No. I copy every mailbox, including old messages and folders, to the new server and check the inboxes before and after the move. New emails start arriving at the new host once DNS updates.
What access do you need from me?
Login details for your old hosting, your new hosting and your domain registrar or DNS (like Cloudflare). A WordPress admin login helps too. Share them in Fiverr messages and change passwords after delivery.
Can you move my site to any hosting or a VPS?
Yes. Any host with cPanel or another control panel, managed WordPress hosting like WP Engine, or a VPS over SSH.
Can you also change my domain name?
Yes. I can move the site to a new domain and update every link in the database so nothing breaks. Message me before ordering so I can confirm the scope.
What if something breaks after the migration?
I fix it free during the support period in your package. As a security expert I also check the site for malware before the move, so hidden problems do not follow your site to the new host.
How long does a migration take?
Most single site migrations are done within the package delivery time. DNS changes can take up to 24 to 48 hours to update worldwide, and I keep your old site live during that time.
Do I need to buy the new hosting first?
Yes, please have the new hosting ready. If you are not sure which host to pick, message me and I will suggest one that fits your site.
