Most businesses outgrow spreadsheets for stock long before they can justify a full ERP. The gap is where things go wrong: counts drift from reality, nobody can explain why, and reconciliation becomes someone's entire week.
I build inventory systems around an append-only movement ledger. Every receipt, issue, transfer and adjustment is stored as a signed delta with a timestamp, the user who recorded it, and a reference to the document that caused it. Your on-hand figure is a roll-up of those rows, so any quantity traces back to the events that produced it.

Which package do I need?
One location with straightforward stock tracking fits Basic. Multiple warehouses, transfers, pack hierarchies and purchase orders fit Standard. Stock valuation, per-user permissions and an audit trail are Premium. Message me your SKU and location count and I'll confirm.
Can you import my existing spreadsheet?
Yes. Send me your catalogue as CSV or a spreadsheet and I'll load it as part of delivery, including opening stock balances. If the data is messy or spread across several files, the migration extra covers cleaning and mapping it properly.
What is a movement ledger and why does it matter?
Every stock change is stored as its own permanent record rather than overwriting a running total. Current stock is calculated from those records, so any number can be traced back to what caused it. It's how you find out where a discrepancy actually came from.
Will it connect to my accounting software?
CSV and Excel export is included in every package, which covers most accounting workflows. For a formatted export tailored to QuickBooks, Xero or similar, there's an extra. Tell me which software you use before ordering and I'll confirm.
What if my project needs more than the package includes?
I tell you before I start, not halfway through. Once you send requirements I confirm what's in scope, so you know upfront if something needs a bigger package. Extras cover data migration, accounting exports and additional screens.
