During my time as Donor Services Coordinator at SOS Children’s Villages Nigeria in Abuja, I focused on building strong relationships with supporters, keeping data secure, and leading our local team. Here are my main achievements: -Reactivate Inactive Donors: Re-engaged over 100 inactive donors, bringing in fresh cash and in-kind support for our youth and children’s programs. -Protected Donor Data (GDPR): Served as the main point of contact for data privacy, ensuring all donor information strictly followed international GDPR privacy rules. -Digital Asset & Impact Storytelling: Collected and uploaded annual digital photos, videos, and impact stories to show donors exactly how their contributions were changing lives. -Donor & Beneficiary Engagement: Managed direct updates, letters, and visits between sponsors and beneficiaries, keeping donors connected to the cause. -Stakeholder Reporting: Worked closely with regional leadership to write and send out clear bi-annual progress reports to major donors. -Operations: Oversee daily donor services operations at the program location, leading, training, and guiding a dedicated team while optimizing processes to improve overall donor experience and resolve enquiries.

During my time as Youth Development Officer at SOS Children’s Villages Nigeria (Lagos & Abuja), I led youth empowerment, vocational training, and community strengthening initiatives across three major donor projects: The Next Economy Programme -Onboarded & Selected Cohorts: Managed the recruitment and onboarding of youth for the 2022 and 2023 Batch 5 -8 cohorts. -Mentored 400+ Youth: Coached over 400 young people in social skills, employability, and business start-up strategies, guiding them to set SMART goals and start small businesses. -Expanded Local Partnerships: Partnered with local SMEs, corporate bodies, and government agencies to ensure our training curricula directly matched current labor market needs. -Guided Program Strategy: Contributed to situational analyses and program planning to refine implementation strategies and target key priorities. SKYE Project (Career Orientation & Job Placement) -Trained 60+ Community Multipliers: Coordinated training for over 60 teachers, parents, local business owners, and community leaders to serve as career orientation guides. -Managed Cascade Training for 1,000+ Youth: Oversaw the training of more than 1,000 young people in vocational skills through the trained multiplier network. -Budget & Proposal Oversight: Reviewed and approved multiplier activity proposals and budgets, ensuring transparent financial management and strict compliance. CVP Lagos Programme (Alternative Care & Family Strengthening) -Delivered Life Skills Training: Facilitated capacity-building workshops on core life skills, social development, and substance misuse prevention for youth and vulnerable families. -Provided Casework & Mentorship: Delivered direct one-on-one mentorship, helping young people access schooling, employment, and local support systems. -Built Support Networks: Worked closely with schools, health clinics, mental health services, and local law enforcement to safeguard youth and address their emotional and social well-being.
