FAQ
Can I request a specific type of feedback?
Absolutely! If you’re looking for feedback on a specific aspect, such as character development, pacing, or plot structure, feel free to let me know upfront. I tailor my feedback to meet your needs and focus on the areas that matter most to you.
Do you offer feedback on grammar and spelling?
While my focus is on the overall structure, character development, and emotional impact of your story, I can offer general observations on grammar or spelling errors if they’re noticeable. For line-by-line editing (like grammar, spelling, and sentence-level improvements)
Do you offer feedback on short stories or novellas?
Yes! I’m happy to work with shorter manuscripts too. For short stories and novellas, the feedback process is typically faster, but you’ll still receive the same in-depth analysis.
How long will it take to receive feedback on my manuscript?
The timeline depends on the length and complexity of your manuscript. Typically, I provide feedback within 2–3 weeks for novels (50,000–90,000 words), but I will always give you an estimated completion date when you submit your work.
Do you offer editing services after the beta reading?
Yes! After receiving beta reading feedback, many authors choose to take the next step and have their manuscript edited. I offer developmental editing, line editing, and copyediting services to help refine your manuscript further. These services can be tailored based on your needs.
