During my time year at ELLE Romania, I worked across editorial design, fashion communication, visual production and creative research for both print and digital platforms. My role extended beyond traditional editorial support, involving concept development, image creation, visual storytelling and creative execution for a wide range of fashion-related projects. I collaborated with editors, fashion teams and photographers to produce high-quality visual content that aligned with ELLE’s editorial standards and brand identity. My responsibilities included extensive fashion research, preparing visual references, developing Photoshop compositions, image retouching, layout support and producing graphics for both published articles and social media content. Throughout the placement I participated in more than 10 professional fashion editorials, events and photoshoots, including assisting during production, supporting styling preparation, documenting backstage processes and contributing visual assets used across ELLE Romania’s print magazine and online platforms. The experience strengthened my ability to work under editorial deadlines while maintaining a high visual standard and reinforced my expertise in creative direction, visual communication, branding, digital image editing and fashion storytelling. Supported final-year BA Fashion Design students throughout the development of graduate collections within one of the world’s leading fashion schools. Worked across multiple stages of the design and production process, assisting with garment development, construction, fittings, sampling and collection preparation while adapting to different creative approaches and studio workflows. Collaborated in fast-paced studio environments where precision, organisation and problem-solving were essential. Assisted designers in translating concepts into finished garments while strengthening technical sewing skills, construction knowledge and an understanding of professional luxury fashion practices. Working alongside multiple designers provided valuable insight into collection development, teamwork, creative communication and the production standards expected within the fashion industry.
