I work from my home, no analog gear, just me, my laptop and four speakers.

You can only keep effects that are part of the arrangement. To be more clear: effects that are needed for soundshaping.

WAV 32 or 24 bit, otherwise the highest quality available to you.
What are stems?
Stems are individual tracks and instruments that for various reasons are exported in one unique audio file.
