About this Gig
Need help with a computer, laptop, network or CCTV system?
I provide practical IT troubleshooting for Windows software and drivers, computer hardware diagnosis, network connectivity, router or WiFi configuration, and authorized CCTV camera or recorder setup. Windows Server and Active Directory support remains included: users, groups, domain joining, domain controllers and Group Policy.
The listed packages are remote and time-limited. I investigate the agreed issue, explain findings, carry out authorized software/configuration work where included, and document tests and next steps. Remote hardware support means diagnosis and guidance, not physical repair.
Computer/laptop hardware repairs and physical network or CCTV installations in Orange County, California can be assessed for a separate on-site quote. Parts, travel, cabling and on-site labor are not included here.
Message me before ordering with device models, symptoms and your location if on-site work is needed. Only client-authorized systems are supported. Never send passwords or camera footage. No guaranteed fix, data recovery, security-incident response or continuous monitoring is included.

FAQ
Do you guarantee the issue will be fixed?
No. I commit to the agreed investigation and work scope. Some faults need additional access, time, third-party support or changes outside the package. You receive findings, actions taken, test results and recommended next steps.
Can you physically repair a computer or laptop remotely?
No. Remote packages cover software/configuration work and hardware diagnosis or guidance. Physical repairs and parts need a separately agreed service. Device models and faults must be assessed first; no all-brand or all-fault repair guarantee is offered.
Do you install networks and CCTV cameras on site?
Orange County, CA on-site network/CCTV installation or computer/laptop hardware repair is quoted separately. Send area, devices and scope. Remote prices exclude travel, parts, cabling, mounting and on-site labor. Confirm scope, timing, suitability and required qualifications before any offer.
Can you help with my camera, NVR or DVR?
I can assess supported cameras, NVRs or DVRs for authorized connectivity, software and configuration issues. Send model, symptoms and non-sensitive network details before ordering. No passwords or recordings. No access-control bypass, covert surveillance or continuous camera monitoring.
Is Windows Server and Active Directory support still included?
Yes. Users, groups, domain joining, domain-controller issues and Group Policy remain within the agreed time/device limits. Larger deployments, migrations and Entra or Microsoft 365 integration are outside these packages.
Do you need my administrator password?
Do not send passwords, private keys or recovery codes. If access is needed, we agree on an authorized, client-controlled method. You can enter credentials yourself or arrange appropriate temporary access through your organization's approved process.
Can you work on a production server?
Only after reviewing the impact and receiving explicit authorization for the agreed work. Appropriate backups, rollback options and a maintenance window may be required. Changes that cannot be carried out safely will not be performed.
Which server versions do you support?
Send the Windows Server and client versions before ordering. I confirm compatibility and scope for the specific environment rather than promising support for every version or configuration.
What is excluded?
Physical repairs and installation, parts, travel, cabling, data recovery, migrations, security incidents, Entra or Microsoft 365 integration and ongoing administration are outside the remote package prices. On-site work requires its own agreed quote and scope.
What counts as a revision?
A revision covers clarification or correction of the delivered report within the original issue scope. It does not add troubleshooting hours, new incidents or additional systems.
