Messy exports can make a simple task take longer than it should. I will clean one Excel worksheet or CSV using clear, agreed rules.
This package covers up to 100 data rows and 10 columns:
- Remove exact duplicate rows using agreed comparison columns.
- Trim unwanted spaces and standardize agreed text or date formats.
- Preserve identifiers, including leading zeros.
- Flag conflicting records, missing values and unclear dates for review.
You receive a cleaned Excel or CSV file and a change report showing what changed and what needs attention. Your original file is preserved.
I check row counts and key fields before delivery. I do not guess missing values or silently merge conflicting records.
Includes two-day delivery and one revision within the agreed scope. This package covers plain tables; formula repair, macros, OCR and complex workbooks need separate scoping.

FAQ
What counts as a duplicate?
We agree which columns to compare. Matching names alone do not prove two records are duplicates. Conflicting records are flagged rather than silently merged.
Can you preserve leading zeros?
Yes. IDs are handled as text. For CSV output, import the relevant columns as text in Excel; opening a CSV with automatic type detection can remove leading zeros.
Will you fill missing information?
Missing or ambiguous values are listed in the report. I only fill them when you provide a reliable reference and agree the rule.
How do you check the cleaned file?
I reconcile input and output row counts, check key identifiers, and record the agreed changes. Unclear dates, conflicting records and missing information are flagged in the change report for your review.
What does the revision include?
One correction or adjustment within the original agreed file and cleanup scope. Extra files, new transformations and larger datasets require a separate quote.
