FAQ
What do you need from me to get started?
Hosting, a domain, WordPress admin access, then your product list (a spreadsheet is perfect), photos, logo and brand colours. No photos or descriptions yet? Say so. I'll build the structure and product templates with placeholders and tell you the exact sizes to send.
Which payment gateways do you set up, and do you actually test them?
Your own Stripe or PayPal merchant account, most gateways with an official WooCommerce plugin, plus bank transfer and cash on delivery. Before handover I put a real order through it, confirm it lands, then refund it. Your gateway keeps a small processing fee on that refund.
I have 300 products in a spreadsheet. Can you import them?
Yes. SCALING STORE includes a bulk CSV import of up to 500 SKUs, with variations, images, categories and stock mapped properly, not typed in by hand. It's a $75 extra on the other two. Send me the spreadsheet and I'll tell you if the columns are usable before you order.
Can you build something WooCommerce can't do out of the box?
Usually yes. Custom checkout fields, custom product types, conditional pricing or shipping rules, a PHP hook, a child theme override, or a small purpose-built plugin. That's included in SCALING STORE and it's a $150 extra on the other two.
You'll have admin access and my customers' data. What happens to it?
You create me a temporary admin account, not a shared password, and you delete it the day I hand over. I don't export, copy or keep your customer data, and I don't need it. Test orders use my own details. Credentials go in the order requirements, never in chat.
What counts as a revision?
A change inside what you ordered: colours, fonts, spacing, the layout of a page in your page count, product data I entered wrong. Not a revision: new pages, products beyond your count, a new design direction, a feature that wasn't in the brief. I'll quote those before I start.
Will you build my store with AI?
I use AI as a tool, never as the builder. Nothing generic ships. Every page, template and line of PHP is mine and I can explain any of it. That's exactly why my AI Website Rescue gig exists - it's where I rebuild the stores AI builders broke.
Who owns the store, and what will it cost me on top of the gig?
You own all of it, on your own hosting. Licences are bought in your name, on your card, so they renew for you and not for me. You pay those to them, never to me, and I never mark them up. I never install nulled software. Bigger orders can be paid in stages with milestones.
Can I run the store myself, and what if something breaks?
Yes. I record a walkthrough on your actual store: add a product, change a price, edit stock, read an order. Every package includes 14 days of free fixing on what I built, 30 on SCALING STORE, and you can extend it to 90. After that, message me or take the monthly care plan.
