What do I need to provide to start the project?
To get the best results, please provide a brief description of your idea, any rough sketches or reference images of products you like, and the target audience. If there are specific technical components (like a PCB or battery) that must fit inside, please provide their dimensions or a 3D file.
Do you provide electronics (PCBA) or software design?
No, I specialize in Industrial Design and Mechanical Engineering (the "shell" and physical structure). I can design the housing to accommodate your electronics, and I am happy to collaborate with your electrical engineers to ensure a perfect fit, but I do not design the internal circuitry myself.
Will the design be ready for mass production?
Yes! Unlike many designers who only focus on aesthetics, I apply DFM (Design for Manufacturing) principles. I consider parting lines, draft angles, and wall thickness to ensure the design can be produced via injection molding, CNC, or other methods.
Who owns the Intellectual Property (IP) rights?
Once the project is completed and the final payment is made, you will have 100% commercial ownership of the design. I only reserve the right to display the work in my professional portfolio unless we sign an NDA that states otherwise.
What software do you use for the design?
I primarily use industry-standard tools like SolidWorks or Creo for precise 3D CAD modeling, and KeyShot or C4D for photorealistic rendering. This ensures that the files I provide are compatible with factory requirements worldwide.
Can you sign an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement)?
