When my agent and publisher reviewed my book, they performed a thorough edit to prepare my book for the market. Having done this several times, I know what agents and publishing editors are looking for in a finished manuscript. I have now been editing professionally since 2014, and have shared this same experience with hundreds of writers. I will do for you what my agent did for me! I will treat you like a writer ready to present your completed manuscript to the market.
I've worked with hundreds of authors, and always focus on complete satisfaction. Please review the package options to get a clear idea of what level of attention your manuscript needs. Custom package options are available. I highly recommend contacting me in advance, and I'd be happy to provide a free 3-page sample edit.
I use Microsoft Word's Track Changes function, so you can see what changes I've made and accept/reject them as you review my work. For Standard and Premium packages, I will also include story notes in Word.

What files should I provide?
Microsoft Word, so you can see the changes I make using the Track Changes function.
How long does the editing process take?
I usually work at a pace of 5,000 words a day, so simply divide your manuscript's word count by 5,000 and that will be the minimum number of days it'll require.
My book is very long. Is that okay?
Of course! I don't have a word count maximum.
What are your rates?
Basic copy editing is $0.01/word Standard line and copy editing is $0.02/word Story editing with revision and second read with Standard editing is $0.04/word
Do you Track Changes?
Yes! That way you can see what I've modified, and either Accept or Reject my changes.
Which package is right for my manuscript?
Feel free to contact me and we can discuss. Some manuscripts need just a basic read, and others need a little more love. It all depends on how much work you want me to put into it.
