You've done the hard part. You wrote a book. Now it's time to fine-tune it and really make it shine so your voice can be heard across the world.
I am a best-selling self-published author with a lifelong love of story. Seems like growing up my mom was always telling me to pull my nose out of a book and come to dinner. I'm here to give you feedback on your book baby so that it can grip your readers so strongly that they forget to eat dinner too!
Here is what to expect feedback on:
- Pacing -Is it consistent and does it follow a smooth story arc?
- Characters -Are your characters clearly drawn and do they develop to drive the story forward?
- Writing Style -Is it consistent and does it match the tone you are going for?
- Readability -This may include some light line-edits.
- The Big Finish -Is the ending satisfying and consistent with the themes set up throughout the story?
- Anything else that sticks out to me as a reader, including potentially problematic representation.
