FAQ
What software do you use to create your designs?
For the most part, I use Altium designer or Kicad for PCB's, and Solidworks for enclosures, mechanism and mechanical part design. This is my preferred software package. Also I use other software for programming and other design purposes. I can adapt to your packages if it's necessary.
What microcontrollers do you use for the designs that require them?
It depends on the application. Usually 8051 derivatives, Atmel (Now Microchip) AVR processors, ST cortex processors, as they represent the best parts for my designs because of cost and flexibility. But, I can switch to other processors if there's the need to do so.
What product files will you deliver for project?
I will deliver the project files for PCB (PrjPcb, Intlib) along with industry standard manufacturing files (gerbers, drill files etc) and BOM files. Word and PDF files for documentation, and firmware source projects and files if applicable. In case of graphic design parts I deliver SVG or PDF files.
