FAQ
Should I contact you before ordering?
Yes. Send your VPS/provider, domains and mailbox count. I check that the server can send mail (port 25, clean IP, enough RAM) and confirm the package or send a custom offer. This takes a few minutes and avoids surprises.
What do I need to provide?
A VPS with at least 4 GB RAM and outbound port 25 open (Hetzner, Contabo, OVH, DigitalOcean with a ticket, etc.), a domain, and access to its DNS. Mailcow itself is free.
Will my emails reach the inbox?
I set up full authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, rDNS), tune Rspamd and test against Gmail and Outlook. I also check your IP against blacklists before we start and tell you upfront if the VPS is unsuitable. Long-term reputation depends on how the server is used.
Is mailbox migration included?
Premium includes migration of up to 10 mailboxes via IMAP sync. Larger migrations get a custom offer; send mailbox count and total size.
Do you support an existing Mailcow server?
Yes. Troubleshooting, updates and DNS fixes on an existing install are quoted as a custom offer after a quick look.
What if port 25 is blocked?
A workable hosting or relay arrangement must be agreed before ordering. Provider changes and relay subscriptions are separate.
Is ongoing maintenance included?
No. These packages cover scoped implementation/testing and handover. Ongoing maintenance can be agreed separately.
