I will teach music for beginners

I teach the piano and music theory for beginners to intermediate musicians and children. I would like to assist and be a part of my students musical journey; to build on the skill that everybody naturally has when it comes to experiencing and understanding music. I approach music as a holistic part of ones life and practice it as such. Everybody experiences rhythms and melodies; but we are often used to perceiving the world visually. My class would be a space where we learn to tune into our ear, make and talk about music.

Exercises, ear training, sight reading, general music theory and basics will be covered every class the main focus would be to build a musical vocabulary in addition to the student's own individual goal. The content of lessons would depend on the interests and goals of the students and parents (preparing for piano exams, learning a specific genre: classical piano, jazz, pop, sound design, composition, or even just a casual exploration).

Lessons will be most effective if done weekly around a set schedule so that we can build on skills with a regular practice.
