I will automate your weekly excel or CSV sales report with python
Excel and CSV weekly report automation with Python
About this Gig
Do you build the same sales or KPI report by hand every week? Copy the exports, fix the columns, paste, sum, make the chart, check it again.
Send me the files you export each week and the report you make today. I build a small Python tool that turns them into the same report.
It handles:
- Files with different column names
- Exports where the header is not on the first row
- Files with quantity and unit price but no total
- Comparison with last week, by channel and by product
You get:
- One Excel workbook: Summary, By Product, By Day, All Orders, Check
- The Check sheet lists every source file, rows read and its total. They must match the report
- A Windows tool (Python, runs outside Excel; no Excel button or VBA) and a one-page guide
How we work:
- You send exported files only. I never ask for passwords or account access
- Please remove customer names, emails and phone numbers first
- I test the tool on your real files before delivery
Not included: live sync with online accounts, automatic emailing, Power BI, accounting or tax advice.
Before ordering, send an anonymized sample to confirm size, rows, formats and acceptance criteria.

FAQ
Do you need access to my store or accounts?
No. You export the files yourself and send them to me. I never ask for passwords.
What if my export changes next month?
Small changes such as a renamed column are covered by the tool. If the file changes a lot, message me and I will quote the update.
Can it run by itself every Monday?
Not in these packages. You run the tool on Windows each week.
Does it work on Mac?
Windows only at present. macOS support and an Excel-button version are not offered.
How do I know the numbers are right?
The Check sheet shows each source file, the rows read and its total. They must add up to the report. I also compare against your own report during testing.
Do you use AI?
This service uses AI-assisted development and automated tests. Human technical code review is not included.
