How long does the cleanup take?
Most sites are cleaned within 24 hours. Very large sites or shared hosting with many infected sites can take a little longer. I will tell you after a first look.
Will Google remove the warning?
Once the site is clean I submit the review request in Google Search Console. Google usually removes the warning within a few days.
Can the hack come back?
It can if the entry point is left open. That is why I update everything, remove unknown users, fix permissions and add a firewall and login protection.
What access do you need?
WordPress admin and hosting or cPanel access. Cleaning at the server level is the only way to be sure every infected file is removed.
My site is completely down. Can you still help?
Yes. I can work from your hosting panel even if WordPress will not load, and restore a clean backup if one exists.
Can you clean more than one site on the same hosting?
Yes. Malware spreads between sites on shared hosting, so I check every site in the account. Extra sites are added as a gig extra.
Will my visitors see anything during the cleanup?
The site stays online while I work. If it is already down or unsafe to keep up, I put a maintenance page in place until it is clean.
Can you remove Japanese or pharma spam pages from Google?
Yes. I remove the injected spam pages and links, clean the database and submit the clean pages in Google Search Console, so the spam results drop out of search over the following weeks.
Will I lose my content, products or orders?
No. I take a full backup before cleaning, keep your posts, pages, products and orders, and only remove files and code that do not belong on your site.
Can you tell me how the hacker got in?
Yes. I check outdated plugins, weak passwords, unknown admin users and server logs to find the way in, close it, and explain it in plain words in the report.
