Are you ready to share your story with the world but worried about how it'll be received?
I will be your beta reader and provide an honest critique of your story's characters, plot, setting, pace, dialogue, and readability.
As a writer, I know first-hand how helpful it can be to see the emotions and reactions of the reader as they go through your story. With this gig, you'll receive in-line comments and reactions on almost every page.
If your story isn't finished just yet, but you need a fresh, unbiased set of eyes to review your work, I'll be your alpha reader! I'll provide you with honest but kind inline comments, real-time reactions, and a detailed report.
Some of the questions that will be addressed in the report include:
Is the story immediately engaging?
Is the pacing appropriate? Were there any areas where the story dragged?
Are the characters authentic? Do I relate to them? Am I rooting for them?
Does the dialogue seem natural?
Were there any areas of confusion or plot holes? Was I immersed in the story?
Was each chapter engaging, purposeful, and suit the rest of the story?

Do you beta read nonfiction?
Yes! Though I prefer fiction, I am open to beta reading non-fiction works as well.
What genres do you accept?
I will accept any genre of writing. However, I prefer to work with romance, fantasy, new adult, and young adult fiction.
Will you edit any mistakes in my work?
Unfortunately, this is not a proofreading and editing gig. I will be analyzing your work through the eyes of a reader and will not be making any changes. However, I will point out any errors or discrepancies I notice while reading.
What file format is required?
I prefer to work with Microsoft Word or Google Docs files.
How do you protect the confidentiality of my book?
As a writer, I understand that confidentiality is a serious concern in our community. I never share any client's work with anyone, and I'm willing to sign an NDA if you need me to. Rest assured that your work is safe with me.
