I will do API testing for webapp in postman daily

About this Gig
Is your API slow, buggy or returning the wrong data? I'll test it end to end and give you a clear report your developers can act on right away.
What I test:
REST and GraphQL APIs with Postman and Swagger (OpenAPI)
All methods: GET, POST, PUT, PATCH and DELETE
Request payloads, params, headers and auth (JWT, OAuth, API keys)
Responses in JSON, XML and other formats: data, schema and status codes
Positive, negative and edge cases, error handling and validation
CRUD flows, chained requests and data consistency across endpoints
Performance: response time per endpoint, slow calls and bottlenecks
What you get:
API test report with actual, expected and target response times, plus optimization tips
Bug reports with request, response, error details, screenshots and video
Reusable Postman collection with environments and tests (Newman ready)
Retesting of fixes during revisions, so your team closes issues fast
Why me? 2 years of hands-on QA on live SaaS, e-commerce and POS products for a US team, plus SQL database checks to find the real root cause.
Send me your API docs or Swagger link, and let's make your API fast and reliable!

FAQ
What do you need from me to start?
Your API base URL, Swagger/OpenAPI link or Postman collection, test login or tokens, and a staging environment. If you have target response times or business rules for any endpoint, share them too so I can test against them.
Do you test REST and GraphQL APIs?
Yes. I test REST APIs with Postman and Swagger, and GraphQL queries and mutations in Postman. I check JSON, XML and other response formats for correct data, schema, headers and status codes.
Which request methods do you test?
All of them: GET, POST, PUT, PATCH and DELETE. Each one gets valid, invalid and edge-case payloads, so you know how your API behaves with good data, bad data and missing fields.
How do you test API performance and response time?
I record the response time of every endpoint and compare it with your expected and target times. Slow calls are flagged in the report with clear suggestions your developers can use to optimize them.
What will the API test report include?
A summary, pass/fail results per endpoint, actual vs expected vs target response times, and a bug list by severity. Each bug includes the request, response, error details, screenshots and a screen recording.
Can you test APIs that need authentication?
Yes. I test JWT, OAuth 2.0, API keys and basic auth, including expired or invalid tokens, missing permissions and role-based access, so only the right users reach the right data.
Will you test on my live production server?
I prefer a staging or test server so your real data stays safe. If only production is available, I limit testing to safe read-only requests unless you approve more.
Will you retest after my developers fix the bugs?
Yes. During your revisions I retest every fixed endpoint, confirm the fix, check nothing else broke, and update the report so your team can close issues quickly.
Do I get the Postman collection?
Yes. You get a reusable, organized Postman collection with environments and test scripts. Your team can run it again anytime, or with Newman in a CI/CD pipeline.
Is my API and data safe with you?
Yes. I use your credentials only for testing, never share them, and remove them after delivery. I recommend sharing test accounts rather than real user accounts.
