What formats do you accept for the initial sketch?
I accept almost any clear format! You can upload a photo of a hand-drawn sketch on paper, a scanned document, a legacy blueprint, an image (JPG/PNG), or a rough PDF layout. Please ensure that any written numbers or dimensions are clearly legible.
Will the final floor plan be drawn exactly to scale?
Yes, it will be perfectly scaled. If you provide specific wall dimensions or room sizes in your sketch, I will draft them exactly to those measurements. If your sketch doesn't have written dimensions, I will draw the entire layout proportionally using standard architectural scale and wall thickness
Which software do you use, and do I get the source file?
I draw all 2D architectural layouts natively in AutoCAD. The editable source file (.dwg format) is included for free in my Standard and Premium packages. If you buy the Basic package, you can easily add the source file as a small "Gig Extra" during checkout.
Can you deliver the final layout drawings in feet/inches or meters?
Absolutely. I work comfortably with both systems. When you place the order, you can explicitly mention whether you need the project delivered in Imperial units (Feet & Inches) or Metric units (Meters/Millimeters).
What happens if I need changes after you deliver the floor plan?
Your satisfaction is my priority. Every package includes a set number of free revisions. If you notice a missing door, want to adjust a room size, or alter a furniture layout, just request a revision and I will update it quickly.
