Hi, I am Shukarullah, a Senior Mobile App Developer with 13+ years in software and 10+ years in React Native.
For 8 years I was the only mobile developer of the Gulf News app, used by 500K+ people on Android, iOS and Huawei. I built its paywall, in-app purchases, push notifications, deep links and CI/CD with Fastlane and Bitrise, and I led its migration to Flutter.

I joined as a Full-Stack Developer working with Node.js, Express and React. Later I moved to mobile and became the only mobile developer of the Gulf News flagship app on Android, iOS and Huawei, used by 500K+ people. Key work: - Built the paywall and login with Piano, including my own React Native native module for the Piano Android and iOS SDKs - In-app purchases, OneSignal push notifications and deep linking - CI/CD with Fastlane and Bitrise, OTA updates with CodePush - Led the migration from React Native to Flutter (Bloc, Clean Architecture, Platform Channels) - Built Java Spring Boot APIs together with the backend team
