I will be teaching guitar at a pace that is reasonable for you. Specifically you, which I understand will depend on the time you can dedicate to the instrument and your current skill level, but I do expect you to practice during the week as much as you can, and as concentrated as you can so I can guarantee that my classes are helping you improve.
We can work exclusively on songs you like, or, if you're interested, I can suggest songs that would challenge you and help improve your playing.
I can also teach the musical theory behind what you play and learn if you want to.
So basically the lessons will be given by me, but designed by you and your musical interests.

I'm a music teacher that was a self-taught musician way before becoming a teacher. I have over 20 years experience with guitar, 15 with bass, and 12 with piano. Thanks to that experience, I can put myself in the shoes of those who might be intimidated by the technical aspects that come from music theory and the correct technique on an instrument. I used to be intimidated by music theory myself, until I went to university and faced the music. There's nothing to fear and I can help you see it that way too.
I started teaching during the pandemic, which gave me useful skills for online lessons.

Will you only teach guitar? What if I have a musical question that isn't specifically about guitar?
I'm a music teacher educated in all kinds of technical aspects of music, including theory, harmony, solphege, etc, so if you have any questions during the lessons that aren't just about guitar, but about the music itself, I'll have no problem answering them.
How long have you been playing guitar?
I began over 20 years. I began learning my first chords in a workshop and then I stayed self-taught for many years until I studied to become a music teacher.
