Do I own the code?
Yes — completely. Source code, database schema and deployment instructions are handed over at delivery. No licence fee, no hosting lock-in, and nothing stopping another developer taking over.
I already have a system. Can you add to it instead?
Usually yes, if it's a reasonably modern web stack. Send me the details before ordering and I'll tell you honestly whether extending it or replacing it is the better spend.
Where does it get hosted?
Your server, your cloud account, or a provider I recommend — your choice, and the hosting account stays in your name. I deploy with Docker, so it runs the same way anywhere.
Is my data safe?
I handle personal records professionally every working day. I use the minimum access needed, keep nothing after handover, and will sign an NDA before you send me anything sensitive.
What if I don't know exactly what I need?
That's normal and it's fine. Describe the process as it works today — who does what, on what — and I'll map it into a specification before any code is written.
How fast can you deliver?
The delivery times shown are real ones I can hit around a full-time job. I would rather quote three weeks and deliver than quote three days and go quiet.
