There is no difference between Facebook pixel and Meta pixel. The new and current name of Facebook pixel is Meta pixel.

Due to the IOS14.5 update and Safari, Mozilla and Firefox, having intelligent tracking prevention (ITP) algorithms, Fb can't accurate data for iOS users. To fix the issues, you need to capture data directly from the server instead of the browser side through Conversion API or server side tracking.

With server side tracking, you will prevent misinformation or lack of information. We will be using both browser and server tracking. It means that your FB browser pixel is blocked, but FB will still track the user's data using the server.

I will set up Facebook conversion API with GTM Server(Stape . io) and Google Analytics 4( GA4) with Google Tag Manager.

Still now stape.io and google cloud platforms are the most popular for server side tracking. You can use any of them but both are premium. The client has to purchase their server on a monthly /request basis.
