FAQ
What is the difference between proofreading, copy editing, and line editing?
Proofreading fixes surface errors spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Copy editing improves clarity, flow, and consistency throughout. Line editing goes deeper, working on your voice, style, and sentence-level rhythm. Not sure which you need? Just message me!
What file formats do you work with?
I work with Word (.docx) and Google Docs for editing. For formatting, I deliver print-ready PDFs and ebook files (EPUB, MOBI) depending on your platform.
Will you change my writing voice?
Never. My job is to enhance your voice, not replace it. I use tracked changes so you can see every suggestion and accept or reject anything that doesn't feel right to you.
Can you format my book for Amazon KDP specifically?
Yes! I format to KDP's exact specifications for both print and ebook. Just share your trim size, page count, and whether you need print, ebook, or both.
My manuscript is longer than 100,000 words can you still help?
Absolutely. Message me with your word count and I'll put together a custom quote for you.
Is my manuscript kept confidential?
Yes, completely. Your manuscript is never shared, discussed, or distributed to any third party. Your work is safe with me.
